Let’s get crazy: World of Warcraft Toy Combinations + Toy Challenge!

Let’s get a little crazy and have fun with the enormous amount of toys WoW has these days! πŸ™‚

Which kind of crazy combination can you come up with?

I’ll start.

How about….

Jaraxxus,

with Fluttering Leaves around him,

wearing a couple of Blazing Wings,

paying a tribute to the Moonkins by wearing a few feathers as decoration,

getting a visit from Ysera,

while he is dressed as a Doomsayer,

shimmering with all the colours of the Rainbow,

representing Brewfest,

enjoying a birthdayparty, where he brought his own Balloon,

while Feeling Pretty,

wearing the most beautiful Ring,

ready to go on a Picnic,

if he and the Lovefool can agree on the terms,

to share the Love Seat,

before they make an attempt to open the Chest, that keeps on giving,

while secretly working for Darnassus,

getting a visit by Archmage Vargoth,

in between testing their skills versus the poor Puntable Marmot and Scarecrow,

munching on a Banana,

with the Spotlight on them,

giving into their inner child to play with a Toy Train,

before they dive in to give a few punches to the Punching Bag,

warmed by the Cozy Bonfire and Little Wickerman,

kicking a Fish around,

and petting a few Wild snakes,

before they decide to Adopt a bunch of puppies..?

A shot from behind the scenes – of a mini version of me, but the ring stays the same size, hah, good fun πŸ˜€

Not all buffs are shown above, but so far, without too much dedication, my total Toy buff count wentΒ up to around 30 on another silly attempt! I’m sure I can get higher…

But…The question is…

Can you?

Contest1Feat.jpg

Can you beat me?

And also come up with a combination of toys, that makes us chuckle?

If you participate, you get to decide a topic for one of my blog posts!

Participate in my Toy Challenge, and you get to select between the Seacrew, fun facts about Alunaria – or the person behind Alunaria,Β let’s swim, explore, fly or dive, – whatever you decide, whatever area you want explored, whatever you want to know – the sky is the limit. (almost πŸ˜‰ Well, that, and the invisble walls in WoW…)

Respond to this post with a link to your screenshots, or to your blog post with your toy-combinations, and be sure to let me know, which topic you’d like me to write about πŸ™‚

I know many are away on vacation, so this contest will run for four weeks, until Monday, August 6th.

Happy summer holidays everyone πŸ™‚

G’Hanir meets Demon Hunter’s Aspect

One of my more rare toys is the one called Demon Hunter’s Aspect (Wowhead link here). It didn’t use to work in Druid forms, so I rarely used it.

But now it does – Apparently! And in combat too. What’s not to love (other than it’s 30 minute cooldown – 5 minute duration. Please change those two)

But, so it has gotten it’s spot right on my Action bar, because it is just that badass. Especially when you fight in Cat form using just your staff. And especially when that staff is G’Hanir.

Out of that came this series of screenshots today. πŸ™‚

Toys that work in combat AND in Druid forms? So much yes.

What keeps you busy these days?

I try to wrap up things in Legion, profession quests, old zones, collecting toys, mounts and pets, and various transmogs. Scouting for Leather Kilts in Battle for Azeroth. Levelling pets. Cleaning my bank a little.

Toying around, obviously.

I guess it’s pretty standard actions pre-expansion πŸ™‚

Things I should be doing includes…

Balance of Power quest line, Ashran, Mythic ToV and Emerald Nightmare (want that title The Dreamer) First Aid achievement and work on my Prestige Levels and Bear and Cat Mage Tower Challenges, farm Sightless Eyes for the Rat Mount, And Demon Eyes for the Cross Gazer Pet.

Things I’m not doing includes…

That’s really all I had for today; almost more screenshots than words this time around, so well done, me.

Wishing you all a perfect-amount of sun-not too warm and not too cold kind of day πŸ™‚

Do you ever take a moment to…

Finishing Legion, for many, can mean tying up loose ends, working towards being “done”. So this post is a reminder, because…

Do you ever take a moment to…

…embrace your inner geek so much, that you actually log on so early, even before the sun rises, just to do that one World Quest for that one mount for that one PvP Achievement you need? (Get lost, Darkbrul Arena spawn times)

Fun14

…notice all the ridiculously fun references and dialogues?

Fun16

…appreciate the strong lore characters and story told in Legion?

Fun15

…chuckle at all the humor some of the quests have?

Fun13

…take in the level of atmosphere, that sometimes is so heartwarming, that it makes you sit down for a while, before you continue with the quest you were doing?

Fun12

…find out, just exactly what happens if you use Orb of the Sin’dorei first.

Then Narcicca’s Mirror.

Then Magical Pet Biscuit.

Then Red Wooden Sled?

Apparently, once your “pet” is on the sled, it no longer has interest in you, and any member can just drag it away from you! (Which explains Alunaria’s tears in this screenshot)

Fun1

…notice the very first hint of a couple in World of Warcraft, who is of the same gender?

Fun5

…to make sure to go back to older continents and assist the fallen heroes of the past?

Fun6

…to be included in an important piece of lore?

Fun7

…to think about just how much time an artist designer spent on getting whatever is in front of you perfect?

Fun11

…explore the older dungeons, and every corner, because chances are, you have missed something as your group was rushing through it all.

Fun10

…Enjoy the scenery, as you do your archaeology, turning it from a chore into an adventure; a chance to relax, knowing how far you have come.

Fun17.jpg

…to take a screenshot, just because a beloved blogger loves the nasty creature you pass by?

Fun2

Enjoy your week and time spend in WoW and the real world, and take good care of each other πŸ™‚

If you had to choose the ONE toy, that says the most about you…Which one would it be? (+The Seacrew stops by!)

In World of Warcraft today, our Collection is larger than ever before.

But how many of those toys do you actually use? How many are not just added to your collection for the sake of it?

For me, all toys gets tested out.

If they are fun, they get added to an actionbar!

If they are zone specific, I sigh and forget about them, in most cases.

I macro a few of them. For the best guide on how to have the most fun with toys and macro, be sure to stop by Wrath over at Coffee Cakes and Crits!

Some toys I use everyday. Especially those with a short cooldown (Oh, please, Blizzard, reduce the cooldown on most toys.)

But the toy chosen for this, is one of those, with a very long cooldown, yet I use it every day, when I log in, and when I log out. The cooldown is an hour, which is fitting, since that’s the amount of gametime I have on most days. So in a way, it works as a reminder too πŸ˜‰ And it’s a nice way to say thank you for playing and goodnight!

Toy7.jpg

It’s called Mylune’s Call. It is from doing the dailies at The Molten Front (Cataclysm)

The grind is on, but it is worth it.

When you use it, this is what you will see…

Teeny drops of water will begin to fall down from the sky…

Toy4.jpg

Forest animals – rabbits, squirrels, a few fawns, soon accompany you…

Toy5.jpg

And then flowers will start to appear…

Toy6.jpg

I chose this Toy, because I think it simply is gorgeous. It reflects, how I feel about nature. The serene feeling it can give, the power it holds, how important it is to watch over and protect it, my love for animals. And it sure is fitting as a Druid, too.

Toy3.jpg

As for the effect in game – I really cherish the ambience sound it comes with as well. If you pay close attention, you can hear its gentle and soothing sounds in the background…

I couldn’t help but wonder…

How about you, which toy would you pick, and why? πŸ™‚

Care to share a screenie or two of it?

I hope to hear!

Wishing you all a joyful weekend πŸ™‚

My goodness, would you look who just came by out of nowhere!

It’s the Seacrew!
