“Adorned in armor”

I hope to be able to dive into Battle for Azeroth tomorrow. Until then… πŸ™‚

“The time has come for an attempt to move on…

…and as I challenge myself, my armor I adorn.”

“A clear head I will need, as sharp as my claws…

…and never lose sight of why I fight – or of my cause.”

“I practice my spells, offensive or not…

…recall all I have learned, everything I’ve been taught.”

“I try to be calm, yet watchful and alert…

…without dwelling too much on all of the hurt.”

“Finding meaning in the chaos is my biggest challenge of all…

…I question if we can make a difference, even when we feel so small?”

“I think back on Teldrassil; beauty, from it’s roots to the sky…

…but most of all I think of my people, I think of the Kaldorei”

“Children of the Stars, our Goddess is near…

…gather your courage to fight, for all we hold dear”

“So find me on the battlefield, just look for the moon…

…I will be there to heal, morning, night or noon.”

“Let us look forward, and never again be pushed back…

…Kaldorei, our time is now, so for the Goddess – attack!””

The above scenes were shot in Feralas at Feathermoon Stronghold.

Did you know, the orignal music from Teldrassil is playing there?

If anyone is interested, the transmog is this…

Headpiece: Conqueror’s Nightsong Headpiece, Shoulders: Mantle of Gnarled Overgrowth, Cloak: Dreadlord’s Tattered Wingcover, Chest: Imp-Overseer’s Vest, Shirt: The Very Best Shirt (because, fun), Tabard: Tabard of the Dreamweavers, Bracers: Cataclysmic Gladiator’s Bindings of Meditation, Gloves: Insulated Wirer’s Gloves, Waist: Hozen-Speed Waistband, Leggings: Kilt of Immortal Nature, Boots: Ruthless Gladiator’s Footguards of Alacrity and Weapon: Explorer’s Walking Stick.

I simply love how the knives and other details of the Imp-Overseer’s Vest now go through the tabard. And that collar. I like the collar look πŸ™‚

I wish all of you the best time ahead in Battle for Azeroth πŸ™‚

I probably won’t be blogging all that much the following month, since my time is short, I have to divide it carefully between my blog and the game. I can blog while on the bus and out with deliveries, but I can only game at home in the evening. But I’ll try to be around here and there πŸ™‚

Safe journey everyone!

  1. Looks like she’s ready to join the fray! That was a nice collage and poem. She is prepared to fight the horde now.

Also I really liked that collar piece. Very nice touch with the bits sticking through the tabard as well

      1. I believe that is the right expression. I am thoroughly enjoying them so far. I’ve only done Tiragarde and about half of Stormsong. I find myself stopping and just staring. Taking screenshots. Laughing at references I understand. I am leveling in a group of 6 with some friends. So its a different group each day depending on who is home and awake at the same time.

There is a good bit of fun exploration to this. I like the zone layouts better than legion zones. They feel less cluttered.

There is a lot to pack in and I find it hard to focus on my work these last couple days.

I can’t wait to see your take on your adventures! Theres lots of water too and even some water themed NPCs.

      2. Sounds like a grand time! πŸ™‚ Nice to level alongside friends. Oh I’d love to see those screenshots πŸ˜‰

Me too, looking forward to get started!

      1. Haven’t seen anything in leather yet. Mostly trousers and jackets so far. I like the look tbh but am really hoping to get a duster like Coat ratherr than the tight fitting ones I’m finding whilst questing.

      2. I hear you! I hope those are not just labelled as “cloth”! Maybe it’ll be some kind of armor unlocked as that from the Valor raid πŸ™‚ How is BfA treating you? πŸ˜€

  2. I’m enjoying it a lot. With the new UI setup, which is still a little bugged, I am able to get completely immersed in the story lines and just enjoy them as they come.

Still need to do a lot of work on things like keybinds for my camera/emote bar as that is very clunky right now and I end up spamming an emote at something when it attacks because I forget to change back to my primary bar.

But all in all I am loving BfA. We will certainly have to see where Blizzard is planning on taking this but I can say the new zones are some of the best Blizzard has ever created and They are a complete joy to explore.

    1. Oh that sounds great. Really looking forward to see your Interface πŸ™‚

Yes I just arrived in the first zone, so far, I really like how open spaced it is. And it did not take long to bond with the characters – so many voice dialogues, and what not, we are being spoiled πŸ™‚ All the accents too, I feel as if it’s a whole other game, such a different environment.

How do you go about it? Doing it all, pet battles, archaeology, quests, or? πŸ™‚

  3. Doing it all! πŸ˜€

I won’t spoil anything but there is so much to see and do. They have even ‘nested’ things this time so when you go back to someplace you thought you cleared there is something NEW to do! First time that happened I was so surprised and giddy as it meant I had reason to kind of wander around where I have already been to see if there is more. Hint, kill everything, do everything then go back to see if you can do more later! So enjoyable!

I’ll be writing my first impressions soon! πŸ™‚

    1. That sounds promising πŸ™‚

I’m not sure I understand the concept of nesting sorry, is it quests that pop up after you come back to a place or? Easy to miss, or? πŸ™‚

Looking forward to your posts! 🌹

  4. Basically yes little things left in a place that by doing other things in and around the area that open up new things in that are. Many times in BfA so far I have completed an area and moved on on to later come back to find something new has emerged in the place I formerly cleared.

Apparently there is a fair bit of this in BfA including vendors that don’t even appear or have things for sale till certain criteria have happened. Ie some pet vendors.

I just love coming back to someplace I know I was thorough in clearing out only to find something new to do!

    1. That does sound very great, no doubt πŸ™‚ I will have to keep my eyes out, then! Thanks for the tip πŸ™‚ Yes it certainly makes the world seem so much more alive for sure!
