Dress-ed up in Kilts

Yes, I just need to make a post about this, even though the chance, that someone at Blizzard is ever going to see it or take it into consideration is small, but hey!

I have faith.

Though I do stay away from story spoilers, I have been closely following the looks datamined on Leather in Battle for Azeroth. Especially after Legion, which contained NO Leather kilts at all, whatsoever (Right?).

I need my Kilts. And if not, I need Chestpieces, that are Robes or Dresses.

I will not be unfair! A few normal Chestpieces for the Rogues and Demon Hunters and what not is fine, it’s all good.

But please. Give me a Kilt or two. A robe or two. Something new to wear with my antlers.

It’s really all I have to say.

It’s still early, I get it, BfA is months away, so let’s use our influence. At a time where there no longer will be any Class Specific Set Pieces, the fight for Leather Kilts and Robes AND Dresses is more important than ever!

Oh, while we are at it, Pleeease Blizzard, could we have a couple of Shirts with high collar? Great, thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s a screenie of a gorgeous location in Suramar, because you made it through this post! :p

Have a terrific Thursday!

I couldn’t help but wonder…Do you have any important fashion wishes for Battle for Azeroth? ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I have to say I support that notion ๐Ÿ˜› Not just in regards to kilts or dresses though, I wish we had more types of clothing in general! They open up some -amazing- transmog possibilities ๐Ÿ™‚
Blizzard has been doing a good job at that in Legion though, at least in my mind. While maybe they didn’t add that many non-regular mogs, the ones that they did add are awesome. I quite like the fact that gear is more than just a texture nowadays – adding custom models to all kinds of different belts, boots, gloves, legs, chests etc etc.
I -really- hope that Blizz expands on that even further in BfA, maybe even to the point where every item gets a custom model ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Now that’d be awesome as hell ๐Ÿ˜€

(I just want to cosplay as more different classes to be honest, like my totally legit not-a-DH druid mog https://i.imgur.com/DWPOcKu.png)

    1. Nice to see you back, Keshi! Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ Yes, I agree, there have been a lot of variety in Legion when it comes to gear. Now just a few more kilts and robes… ๐Ÿ˜‰

Haha, that is a neat transmog! I hear you; I used to run around in a dress as a Rogue with daggers years and years ago. It confused the Horde in PvP. “Kill the one in the dress! Wait, she ain’t healing..!” ๐Ÿ˜€

      1. I’m here to stay ๐Ÿ˜› I’ve been following your blog for some time now, I just hadn’t gotten around to commenting on anything yet ๐Ÿ™‚

Pff you can’t just assume someone’s role based on their clothes. Some people just want to look fabulous!

      2. Hah, aw, that means a lot to me- I genuinely appreciate comments here; it’s nice to get in touch and hearing others share their view.

So thank you very much ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, I agree! It’s a great decoy in PvP too!

    2. Hi there! Can I just say I loved what you said? “Pff you canโ€™t just assume someoneโ€™s role based on their clothes. Some people just want to look fabulous!” <- THIS! yes yes yes! I like dresses, I like skirts, I like kilts… and more lovely headwear too please!!! I don't like wearing helmets all the time and a sweet headpieces are adorable!
PS: that transmog is so neat! I like what you did there "totally legit not-a-DH druid mog" ahah

  2. I agree — more skirts, please! As well as more leather kilts, I’d like some more relatively plain cloth skirts — basically just recolors of the Simple Kilt… black, for starters, and red, and green, and yellow, and brown, and purple, and…

    1. Oh, and I really hope there will be some way to get the looks for the questing gear from the other faction without, you know, actually having to *play* a character of the other faction, because I really really like the Kul Tiras quest gear, but I’m not so keen on the Zandalar quest gear. Maybe the max level opportunities to go do quests on the other faction’s continent will allow us to pick up the other faction’s armor designs, as well?

    2. Glad I’m not alone! Oh, yes, that’d be lovely. See, just like in the real world. A couple of basic styles to add more flair and accesories with ๐Ÿ˜›

  3. Hmm…I would like some more different types of plate gear. It would be great if we could combine plate items and the end result would look like โ€œgladiator armorโ€ (as in, looking different than a complete set of armor….example: the ToV raid mail set has one armored arm and the other is wrapped in bandages.) I would like to see stuff like that ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, more high collared cloth items and shirts ^^

(Alunaria, how about a Trial of Style tomorrow? Iโ€™m gonna ask the group and we could all queue together ๐Ÿ˜€ )

    1. Oh, yeah! I love those details too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Be sure to submit the shirt idea in game!

Trial of Style, I would love to, I have not done it yet. What time? I can play for about half an hour tonight though, is that enough? What time? Maybe tomorrow is better? Thank you for thinking of me! ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Weโ€™ll be online at the end of the day (when you are usually online ๐Ÿ™‚ )
If for some reason we cant do it today, we schedule for tomorrow. I tried it a couple of days ago with Princess it was fun ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. From many of the things I’ve seen, no spoilers, it really looks like there is going to be an upswing in the variety of transmog pieces and styles we will have from BfA. I am really excited for many of the looks I’ve seen and I do hope there are some things (hopefully some kilts for you too Alunaria) among them that will bring you all some joy and find places in your characters wardrobes. โค

    1. Hey Wildeheart, nice to see you stop by! /Clicks on wildeheartlife.co.uk – nope, it’s not up yet, darn! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ohh, I see, that sounds promising at least ๐Ÿ™‚ I really hope so too, thank you for the none-spoilery info โ™ฅ

      1. It sure doesn’t ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Hah, you are so awesome. ๐Ÿ˜€ How about a vuvuzela, lol. “You can have Argus, just stop playing!” ๐Ÿ˜›

  5. Plate shoulders that are of better proportions to the wearer, and without all the gigantic spikes and whatnot….
And yes, I know that you can transmog shoulders out entirely, but I think there needs to be something. Why must it be nothing/invisible? Or, humungoid spikey shoulders?

As a side note about shoulder armor: I hate asymmetrical styles!

    1. Oh, yeah, that is true! I never wore Plate, so hardly notice, but now you mention it, I understand where you are coming from.

Assymetrical styles; a few shoulder pads come to mind, where there’s only one shoulder covered. It’s not very practical in battle either!

    1. I keep trying other headpieces, but those antlers just seems to stick. Hm, sign of true Druid potential… ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you!
