Screenshots of the Month – February 2018

Oh, I missed a few months of these…What do you know. πŸ™‚

I have limited the maximum amount in this series to be twenty pr. month now, so here goes…

Still trying to come up with a transmog I like for the Purple Artifact tint…

Ever wondered, what you get if you…Shift into Orca. Use the Ai-Li’s Skymirror on yourself, and then use the Toy Red Wooden Sled, and have a Demon Hunter drag you around Dalaran?

Well, I am glad you asked. This!

Azsuna is so beautiful. The skies there are similar to those in Pandaria, are they not?

Had a blast sorting through mails! It was a fun challenge, and really tested my memory. I bought the item to start the series of quests off the Auction House (Lost Mail, is it called)

Hmmm. An invasion Point on Argus, I bet. Right before casting…Wild Growth? I like the new spell animations (which is surprising, as I am very much “old is always better” :p )

Aw, this. I found this is Pandaria. Owen’s Wishing Well. (Click here and here for more info)

Trying to come up with a transmog around Love is in the Air.

Another attempt…(Can you tell, that I spend a lot of money on transmogs?!)

Oh, see, now this I really loved! After doing those quests on Argus, I had no idea Turalyon and Alleria would stand in Stormwind and offer a little dialogue. (No quest involved). I adore when the world changes accordingly to what you do in game (Almost. Old is always better :p)

I am still working my way through Mist of Pandaria. Reached exalted with a few factions or more by now- and really enjoyed doing the finale quests! (None repeatable stuff wins me over every time)

Oh, you too, have wondered, what happens, when two Molten Corgis fight each other and use Puppies of the Flame at the exact same time? πŸ˜€

One of those rare nights, where I stay up past 21.00! Attending the Wanderer’s Festival in Mist of Pandaria. Worth a visit and more, every Sunday, at 21.00, go check it out, if you never have.

I used this one already. But it has turned out to be one of my favorites, so here it is again! Val’Sharah is my favorite Legion zone.

Another Pandaria faction warmed up to me. (How hard was that race!?)

Hah, ok, so this one. Not a particular beautiful screenshot, no? But what he says really made me chuckle.

I guess it is in particular because of Taliesin and Evitel’s videos, but when you click on him, he says the exact same thing as Khadgar: “There is much to be done”.

So I guess, Khadgar stole his punchline? Or was it the other way around?

Never forget to notice all the details inside the Dungeons of Legion. Can you see which battle takes place here? πŸ™‚

Feeling pretty good about myself, limiting my amount of screenshots in these monthly posts!

This time of an expansion is by far my favorite time, because it gives me time to catch up. I like logging on, having “nothing” to do, as in things one “should” be doing, to stay above, if you can say that.

I like wearing the best gear I can possibly get for months and months (aside from RNG procs!), I like just doing something out of the ordinary.

How about you?

I guess many are eager to hear more about Battle For Azeroth? Not me. I won’t even finish with Legion before BfA launches!

Wishing you a fabulous week πŸ™‚

  1. Beautiful screenshots! I especially liked the invasion point one, it captures the whole resto druid thing quite well I think.
The “green” zones are by far my favorite zones as well – Val’Sharah, Jade Forest, even Feralas πŸ™‚
Also… is that a Chinese takeout box at the wishing well? x)

    1. Hey Keshi, thank you for stopping by! πŸ™‚

Thank you! Those action shots are hard to come by, but I like how that turned out in particular too πŸ™‚

Oh, yeah, even Feralas? Gosh, it is very green! But lush too, I like it.

Hah, you are spot on, it does really look like a Chinese Takeout box πŸ˜€

Say, you wouldn’t happen to have a blog, would you? πŸ™‚

      1. Yeah I can imagine that it’s quite a bit of a challenge to get screenshots like that πŸ˜›
I can’t blame those pandas for wanting their takeout though, they do look like hungry fellas after all x)
I’m afraid I don’t have a blog! I don’t exactly have a way with words like you do to make a blog work, nor do I think I could really manage to get enough interesting content up. The closest thing I’ve got to a social media thingy is Twitter πŸ™‚

      2. Hah, I bet.

Aw, really? It does not has to be much, it can be a simple screenshot! Then again, I am all about the blogging – Staying away from Twitter and social media to avoid spoilers, hah. Happy day to you πŸ™‚

  2. Ah awesome, I love it when you post these. It’s great seeing the world from your perspective!

I do notice that in almost screenshot it seems you have a different xmog. πŸ™‚ You must bribe the xmog vendor with blog tips or something in order to afford it. πŸ™‚

Lol, I wish I could see that orca sled through Dalaran in person. It’s cool what you can do when you’re creative about it.

That post office looks really neat, although it does remind me of when I used to work in a teeny tiny post office that my grandfather managed. Those weren’t the best memories, but maybe if I run a post-office in-game it’ll improve my post office memories. πŸ™‚

That was a neat make-a-wish find that I hadn’t of heard of before. The only one I remember hearing about is the “Kyles Gone Missing” quest in Mulgore. Remember that one? With the NPC with the unique dialogue. That’s got a pretty neat article here:

I did manage to catch Turalyon and Alleria in front of SW at some point. I remember thinking about those statues once I understood who they were. Did you ever catch the official audio drama that Blizzard released on youtube about those two? I’d highly recommend it:

I keep saying I want to explore Pandaria, but I still haven’t gotten around to it. Hopefully I’ll be able to visit soon with me and my sister’s horde toons.

I’ve never heard of the Wanderer’s Festival. Is that like a special event like the Darkmoon Fair?

That battle scene in the Black Rook Hold kind of reminds me of the Well of Eternity? I’m not sure, though. That’s great how you pick up dungeon details like that. They put so much cool stuff into those dungeons, but it’s hard to slow down and appreciate it. We’re so used to blazing through at full throttle. The most dramatic example I have is during Draenor. I ran all those dungeons a million times, and really enjoyed them. But when I went back to Skyreach with Phester and really took in every little detail, it blew me away, especially when I looked up in that central chamber. It made me sad how much I had missed the many times I had ran that place before.

Whew, that was a rant. Was kind of inspired by our live chat on twitter. Looking forward to future posts! And I’ll most likely post some of my own screenshot highlights sometime over these next few days. Until next time!

    1. Oh, my, an in-depth comment from Zeshio! Thank you πŸ™‚ Don’t call it a rant! I love having things to read!
Hah, yeah, I should bribe the xmog vendor. At least this week during Trial of Style, it’s free πŸ˜› Time to take advantage!
Aw, too bad US and EU servers do not connect then. Gosh, you even play a Druid. It could be an Orca pulling another Orca on a Sled! You have the Sled yourself?

I bet the post office in WoW will appeal more to you; especially since the locations are places in Azeroth πŸ˜€ πŸ˜‰

I remember the Kyle’s Gone Missing quest, from years and years ago. I did manage to level a Tauren to around 20 once. Thank you for article link, I was not aware of that πŸ™‚

Oh, right, that audio drama! Forgot. Bookmarked!

Then you and your sister will get to experience Pandaria together, that’s nice.

Hm, I do not want to spoil the Wanderer’s Festival for you. I think you should do Pandaria first, get to know the citizens there, and then attend the Festival πŸ™‚ You’ll know why once you get there! I shall guide you to the location once you are ready πŸ˜‰

I think you are right, but my lore knowledge is not the best. Perhaps a dedicated Warcraft fan can swing by and assist us.

Heh, you have Pandaria to explore, I have Draenor, it seems. πŸ™‚ But yeah. In PuGs you miss out on a lot. I always stay behind once it’s cleared and explore on my own.

Twitter chat was great! I wish there was a WordPress chat function.

Oh, you do that πŸ™‚ And remember to have your new shiny blog linked to your profile.

Ishnu-dal-dieb, fine Sir. Thank you for spending the time to leave such a comment πŸ™‚

      1. I haven’t gotten the sled yet. I assume it’s a Christmas thing?

The wanderer’s festival sounds quite mysterious. πŸ™‚ I’ll have to keep an eye out for it.

  3. Nice screenshots, and congrats on the mail challenge, i didn’t want to buy it from AH so i waited, one day i just found it randomly without even looking for it, no one around!

    1. Thank you πŸ™‚ Wow, that sure was lucky; low populated server, or?

That did turn out quite nice πŸ˜€ And I think my opponent won with just a few healthpoints left!

  4. What an amazing post, thank you for sharing πŸ˜€

I had no idea about that festival, I will have to check it out next Sunday for sure.

Your screenshots are so wonderful, that Princess uses them as wallpapers and screensavers on her computer πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you πŸ™‚ Oh, do that, it’s a joy and have a few fun things about it too.

Aw, again, I am glad that I can help decorate her computer in such a way πŸ˜€ Want a shot of somewhere in specific? Let me know! Now that I have you on BattleNet, I could even do a few character shots with her πŸ™‚ I used to do that for the guild I was in during my RP days.

  5. I LOVED the shot of the bird at the well. I knew immediately that was from Pandaria. I loved Pandaria and spent the most time there compared to any other expansion. Love your shots of the black dragon and the Ox too. You really captured the wonder of the zones.

    1. Hey Miranda, nice to see you here again πŸ™‚ Oh, yes, me too, such a peaceful spot.

Thank you, MoP has grown on me a lot; I looked very much forward to those questing chains there, I’m glad it’s showing πŸ™‚
